May 9, 2019 we broke ground on our round pen. This was a big day for us and I can't begin to thank everyone who made it happen. My son, Jay, did the design work and material list; Bobby Champion, who just happens to be the "Champ" in "Champ's Lucky Seven" provided the materials; Brandon Henley, Emily's husband, and Jay spent two of their days off digging, setting posts, measuring and cutting boards so Emily and I can follow our dream. John Warner, Emily and I did whatever was needed to help Jay and Brandon. Although it was hard work it was a fun couple days with our barn family. The kids had a blast and I can't begin to thank these people enough. I am truly blessed and grateful.
Our official ground breaking picture. Brandon, Emily, Jay and Gwynn. Charlotte and Grant decided to get in there too.
Beau obviously thought the tent was set up for his comfort.

After Beau had spent so much time under the tent that Emily decided it was time to see how he would react to a bit. Pictures are on Beau's Page and there's a link on that page to bring you back here.
At this point we called it a day to let the posts set. Beau had done so well with the bit that Emily decided to see how he reacted to her on his back. Pictures of the first ride are on Beau's Page and there's a link on that page to bring you back here.
